Joe & Mimi's Pizzeria is fantastic! We catered an order last week for roughly 60 of our sales folks and the food was excellent. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond. Great Pizza shop. We ordered and ate on patio. Antipasta salad was exquisite, no cheap ingredients here. Stromboli was just as good. I also ordered the Gambler Pizza and the gobs of ricotti cheese stopped my spouse from eating it. I wasn't too fussy over it either but crust was perfect. Will be back here.

I love going to Joe and Mimi's for lunch! They have a great lunch special and quite possibly the best New York style pizza this side of Manhattan! If you are looking for a great slice of pizza, Joe and Mimi's is the place to go!

I ordered a calzone a few weeks ago, the ricotta had a sour taste, I called and let Mimi know about the problem with the calzone, she said to come in and she would take care of it. Fast forward to tonight. I called and ordered another calzone, along with pizza and meatballs. A few minutes later Mimi called me back and informed me that she would not take care of the calzone cost and said the ricotta was not sour! She was extremely rude and belligerent, basically calling me a liar. I canceled my whole order and told her I would not be coming back to her establishment..I have never been treated that way at a restaurant before. This is over a $7 calzone... If this is how a owner treats a customer, good riddance!!

My husband and I go here quite often because the pizza is phenomenal if you are looking for a New York style pizza, but I only gave it three stars because the service always sucks. Very unfriendly and not good at their people skills.

The pizza and the service here are outstanding, the Sicilian is my favorite along with the meatballs and the stuffed shells and let's not forget the New York style pizza. If you visit tell them #chodeats sent ya

We rented the banquet room for my parents 60th wedding anniversary for a small fee. We then had the most delicious and plentiful Buffett. It was wonderful! Our waitress was outstanding and courteous and kind and met all our needs. I would highly recommend them.

I've found on more than one occasion that Joe & Mimi's stop answering their phones all together up to 45 minutes before they close— this is especially frustrating because they are one of the earliest closering pizza places in the area.I love the food, but it shouldn't be so difficult to get hold of them.

I am so happy that my path has crossed with these guys. They always greet me with a smile when I come in. Awesome people, killer pizza. Do yourself a favor and destroy a piece their fantastic Sicilian style pizza when they have it available!

Decent Pizza. Not worth the wait. Not worth the money. Freezing dining room.... I was actually shivering. Asked to switch to a bigger table and they acted like I asked for the moon and all the stars. Woman at register was quite rude and condescending. Won't go back.

Great calzones, meatballs and best sauce I've had in Licking county...

Awesome... I was a little concerned because their dinning room only had 3 tables in it and it is a little off the beaten path. We started with an antipasto salad (sorry I did not get a pic of it) but it was out of this world good and got eaten before I could think about taking a pic. Wife had an Italian sub which was great. I had a pizza rollover or something like that which was a meat filled stromboli which was AWESOME. The owner was super nice and provided great service - I strongly recommend that you stop in if you are in Granville

I am self proclaimed pizza snob. I've had New York, Boston, and Chicago style. This place defiantly has the New York flare. Love the hand tossed crust and the sauce is out of this world. I'll defiantly be going again.

Joe and Mimi’s has the best New York style pizza in central Ohio! We get pizza here about once a month or so, and they are very consistent(which is rare for pizza joints) ,staff has always been friendly, pizza is delicious and one of my favorites!

The pizza is delicious! Great dough and crust, all hand tossed.. I like the owner too, she is nice and the college kids working with her give the place a nice hometown feel.

This pizza is AMAZING. I've gone there enough now that they know me by name, so it really feels like good ol' NYC and a little piece of home. The people complaining about service and ingredients don't know what they're talking about! When those were written the restaurant was still getting off the ground and going AND they make their ingredients fresh everyday so that is why they have the possibility of running out. The crust, sauce, EVERYTHING is amazing and perfect!

Mimi, is the best! So sweet and treats everyone like family. I love coming to a small hometown takeout place where they know your name! And the FOOD taste amazing.

Amazing New York style pizza. We get ours well done, which makes it absolutely perfect! The staff has always been very friendly to us, so not sure why the other reviews say otherwise! I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys NY style pizza, only good one in the area!

The best calzones!!

We just had lunch at Joe and Mimi's Pizzeria. I had the Stromboli and it was awesome. A good combination of crust and ingredients. I enjoyed the sauce that was served on the side with it. I liked the smaller chunks of ingredients in it. I also had a side salad. It was good but the croutons were really tough to chew. Other than that you can tell it was fresh made and was a great size for the price. I will definitely go back!

Joe and Mimi make a really good NY style pizza, but... On numerous occasions I've tried to give them our business, and the shop is never open! Why bother posting your business hours if you're going to be closed anyway? It's just not worth the hassle.

Delicious spinach calzone, and the gamblers pizza is amazing. We got both to go, and they held up well to the delay before eating them. The dough is the perfect combination of chewy and crispy, and the topping was generous, and not as oily as what you get at some places. Great on the reheat, too!

They have the best New York Style pizza around here. Good flavors and the salads are fresh. If you go in on Friday evening you can get Sicilian pizza as well by the slice.

Very good, friendly staff, will be back when I am in the area. Pizza a little pricier, than nationals chains but most smalls shop are. But worth it to me.

Have been trying to call for over an hour no luck very disappointed was looking forward to trying the pizza don’t know why you would have takeout and never answer your phone. This was supposed to be dinner with the grandchildren. Doesn’t matter how good your food is if you don’t have good customer service!

Our family just tried Joe and Mimi's for the first time. Very fresh, high quality ingredients. This pizza was excellent and bursting with fresh flavor. This is the first time the whole family enjoyed the pizza....well done !

So excited to get some real pizza but way disappointed with the pizza. Sauce was super sweet and chunky, and crust was burnt. Nice idea but not executed. Really Sheppy's is where it is at!

Pizza was strange in texture and even stranger in taste. Not pizza as I know it.

Good food from nice folks. Seating is very limited and it's a bit disorganized. I'm originally from the Northeast and unlike the NYC style they claim, they insistently toast their subs! They taste great, but I was hoping for something a little more authentic!

Finally, pizza worth eating. I am from the North East and have lived in Ohio for 6 years and never thought pizza could be done so poorly and I have tried many places. So it is finally nice to have found a place where I can get pizza that looks, smells, and tastes like east coast style pizza! And cut the right way too. It's a shame it is all the way out in Granville but when I have a true craving it is nice to know there is a place I can go.

Wonderful! All food made from scratch with fresh natural ingredients. The staff especially the servers are extraordinary and the cooks get it right every time. Authentic Italian food and much more. Do yourself a favor and GO

This is a small mom and pops pizzeria with limited dine in capacity and a patio for warmer weather. We had 1. A meatball which tasted good but could use a pop of flavor in my opinion (either spice or more salt). 2. The stuffed cheese bread with ricotta. This tasted great but the cheese inside was surprisingly cool and served with hot marinara to compensate. 3. A 16" cheese pizza with light sauce. This was slightly thicker than my ideal new york style pie and I wouldn't want my kids around if light sauce wasn't ordered! The overall taste could rate a B- for me. The staff(Including who I think were Joe and Mimi)were friendly enough but i)I got the impression they didn't want us to dine in.

Our favorite pizza in the area. My husband loves the gambler pizza and I love the antipasta salad.
